A warning light means the system detected a fault
When the SRS or airbag warning remains on, one or more restraint-system functions may be unavailable. Reading and clearing a code is not the same as repairing the cause.

Deployed airbags may be accompanied by seat-belt pretensioner, sensor, module, steering or interior component damage. The vehicle requires a complete evaluation.
